Route
description
After
completing your row, enter transition, put on cycle helmet and
push bike out of transition to the mount point.
At
the mount point you will be heading left out of the Park up Pound
Lane.
Turn
right into Pen Wood Lane, following this road round a sharp right
then left turn.
STOP
at the T-junction and put a foot down before turning right. Failure
to do so will result in at best a TWO minute penalty,
at worst we will be scraping you off the road.
Turn
left by Platts Garage into Oxford Road.
Follow
this road (Oxford Road/Chalk Pit Lane) as it climbs out of Marlow.
After
a brief down hill it climbs again followed by a short descent
to a crossroad junction where you must give way.
Go
straight across and follow the road down the hill - beware of
oncoming cars as it gets quite narrow.
At
the end of this road turn left to Fingest - beware cars approaching
from the right on a hidden bend.
This
road then winds itself down the valley, passing through Skirmett
and Hambledon before arriving at a T-junction in Mill End.
Turn
left at the T-junction, heading back to Marlow.
Follow
the road up the hill past Dansefield Hotel, straight over the
roundabout and down into Marlow.
Keep
following this road into Marlow turning right at the Hand &
Flowers Pub in to West Wood Road (NOT Pound Lane).
Follow
this round a sharp right then left bend before turning left into
Pound Lane and returning to the park.
Dismount
in the designated zone before pushing your bike through the entrance
gate and into transition, racking the bike and removing your helmet.
